Job Summary

AECOM’s Nuclear Power and Decommissioning team are looking for talented engineers to help us respond to the world’s energy challenges. We’re offering opportunities to work with industry-leading clients, to learn from global experts, and be part of an inclusive and diverse workforce.

We work on some of the most high-profile nuclear power stations in Europe and we want you to be a part of it. You'll join a global community of planners, architects, designers, engineers, cost and project managers, management professionals and other specialists, collaborating across disciplines, taking on the most complex challenges.

We are looking for experienced Civil and Structural Engineers, Revit Technicians, Mechanical Engineers and Analysts, ideally with recent experience working within the nuclear sector, or other regulated and quality assured systems.

Minimum Requirements

Unfortunately we are unable to progress applications requiring visa sponsorship for this position.

  • Knowledge in specialist areas relevant to Civil, Structural, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

  • Experience within highly regulated environment(s), such as: nuclear, defence, petro-chemical or offshore.

  • Experience in the full cycle of project design delivery from inception to detailed design.

  • Understanding of design principles and have the ability to apply them.

  • Able to take responsibility for leading small projects and sub tasks from a technical perspective.

  • Able to meet the requirements for security clearance in the UK.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience of working within the Nuclear Sector, new build and decommissioning projects, in roles reliant upon professional engineering expertise and judgement.

  • Have a record of successful delivery, including positions influencing professional engineers in the definition, implementation and delivery of engineering work packages.
