AECOM is looking for a Building Performance Engineer to lead projects as part of its team of experts and to provide a client-facing role to communicate our expertise, provide thought-leadership and improve building performance.
The applicant should have or have a passion for :
In-depth knowledge and experience of NABERs / Design for Performance, TM54 and Soft Landings
Knowledge of building physics and IES
Experience and knowledge of post-occupancy evaluation, fine-tuning and capturing lessons learned
Ability to give advice on low carbon design decisions at early design stages
Understanding of LEED, BREEAM, and WELL in relation to building performance
An understanding of net zero carbon in buildings and whole life carbon impacts
Some knowledge of Passivhaus principles would be useful, but not essential
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to take complex, technical information and explain it simply
Ability to collaborate with different disciplines including engineers, modellers and sustainability experts
- Bachelor of Engineering.
