The successful candidate will be required to manage, support and develop the marketing activity through various digital marketing functions.
The role can be split into a number of distinct areas:
Source industry-relevant stories and write articles for the three monthly newsletters to key stakeholders and industry contacts
Design and deliver these newsletters using MailChimp and WordPress
Produce weekly social media planner to enhance communications with stakeholders
Develop specific campaigns to target different audiences in order to increase brand awareness and engagement
Write, post and manage Twitter and LinkedIn platforms on a daily basis
Support the social media strategy and suggest improvements where possible
Maintain and update website pages using WordPress
Create and design new pages to support new product launch etc
Develop and design visual marketing materials such as icons, infographics, leaflets, banners, adverts - all for print and web purposes
Provide support at events and conferences
Identify suitable awards and create project based awards submissions
Produce Google analytics report and monitor effectiveness of campaigns
Profile for the successful candidate
Excellent copywriter with the ability to adopt house style according to client guidelines
Fluent in Adobe CS (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and ideally Premier Pro – but not required) to produce reports and designed asset
Good command of PowerPoint
Creative and innovative mind with a strong eye for detail
Understanding of digital design HTML, CSS, WordPress
Ability to use a number of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter) professionally
Ability to juggle priorities and work to deadlines
Ideally working experience in the construction, transport or road safety sector but not required
- Preferably part or fully qualified in a marketing capacity or in a digital and/or design capacity
