Job Summary
As we continue to expand our Roads team following several exciting project wins, we now have vacancies for Highway and Traffic Engineers to work as part of our Croydon based team.

You will:
Undertake road engineering detailed design schemes with supervision
Collaborate with the project team from project manager to graduates and technicians
Assist in work delegation and co-ordination to graduates and technicians
Produce deliverables to a high standard of quality against agreed timescales
Undertake Health & Safety duties and fulfilling CDM designer responsibilities
Minimum Requirements
If your skills profile has a combination of the following, then we would like to hear from you:
Demonstrate knowledge and experience of undertaking detailed design schemes
Pavement & Drainage Design experience
Knowledge or awareness of the several of the following; cycling design, traffic calming, Healthy Streets, junction design, and footway and carriageway renewal design
Knowledge or awareness of local and national design standards including, but not limited to; TSRGD, Manual for Streets, DMRB and Traffic Signs Manual
Demonstrate understanding of Health and Safety including CDM responsibilities
Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office applications
Buildability awareness
Road Safety knowledge
Experience of AutoCAD Civil 3D & Microstation
Keen to progress Chartership with a related institution such as ICE or CIH
Preferred Qualifications
- B.Sc., BEng or MEng degree in Civil Engineering, or relevant Engineering discipline.
