Our highways team is regarded across the industry as leaders in technical innovation and specialist knowledge and is why we have fantastic relationships and vast pipelines of work on major highways projects for Clients including Highways England, Welsh Government and Local authorities through to trunk road maintenance schemes across the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Our Highways team is expanding our specialism an experienced Highways Drainage and our looking to build on our reputation and add additional Highways drainage experience to the team to work on major trunk roads and motorways both in the UK and internationally. We are looking to enhance and enlarge the team with people who have a sound technical background and share our enthusiasm and determination. They will preferably have experience of working collaboratively as part of a team developing a range of highway projects. The role will suit a self-motivated individual who is aspiring to take a key design role in delivering high quality projects assisting the Highways Lead in the design development of schemes.

South East Aylesbury Link Road,
OD East Capital Delivery Programme determination.
2 major Smart Motorway Projects as D&B, the M62 J10 -12 and the M6 J21a to 26.
M60 J13 Improvement & J18 Simister Island Technical Assurance
A64 Hopgrove
Minimum Requirements
The appropriate level of technical expertise is required to carry out the following responsibilities to the expected standards:
Deliver engineering designs to the required quality standards, budgets and project timescales
Undertake Health & Safety duties, fulfilling all responsibilities for health and safety in design including safety in design and CDM
Undertake technical design of highway drainage systems in accordance with UK standards and best practice including DMRB and MCHW
Proficiency with modelling software including WinDes, and able to use manual techniques for design where appropriate
Construct 3D models of projects in a BIM environment
Undertake design checks of drainage designs completed by others
Work collaboratively with colleagues and clients, using tools for information sharing such as Business Collaborator and ProjectWise
Identify data and information required for project and advise team leader;
Complete all required health and safety training, including CSCS qualification where required
Preferred Qualifications
For this role, we are seeking an experienced highways drainage engineer with the following attributes:
A degree in Civil Engineering;
Experience (post-graduation) in highway drainage design in UK;
Competent in use of WinDes;
