AECOM Mid Level Mechanical Engineer in Crane, Indiana

AECOM is seeking mid-level Mechanical Engineers to perform duties in planning and designing tools, handling equipment, machines and other mechanically functioning equipment. This will involve 3D modeling, analysis, selecting, and troubleshooting materials used in mechanical applications along with modification, installation, operation, maintenance and repair of equipment.
Research and analyze data such as customer design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.
Design products or systems in support of equipment, research, or maintenance requirements.
Coordinate, troubleshoot, and approve installation activities as inspection services to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and specifications.
Conduct GD&T analysis on current and future/modified equipment and systems.
Perform analysis for weld specifications from current applications to new or converted equipment.
Ability to read drawings and blueprints, include GD&T.
Experience with CREO/PRO-E Software
Review drawings and check for accuracy and compliance.
Review inspection data.
Ability to assemble fixtures and test equipment.
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related Engineering field and 8-10 years of job related experience or equivalent.
Experience with GD&T and weld specifications
Ability to work independently.
Good written communication skills
Working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications
Organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required.
Position may require travel.
Must be a US Citizen with the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
