We have an opening for a professionally qualified Senior Project Manager in Belfast, ideally with experience of contract management of NEC3/NEC4 projects.
The successful applicant should have a Project Management/Construction/Engineering/Quantity Surveying Masters Degree and be Chartered with the RICS, CIOB, RIBA, ICE or other equivalent institution.
You will need to manage and take ownership of all aspects of projects, proactively engaging with the client, construction and design teams to successfully deliver projects. You will be required to prepare forward-looking succinct and accurate reports identifying clear actions and recommendations. When managing a contract, you will be required to positively engage with the construction and design team and work collaboratively to address risks and avoid claims and disputes. You will be required to maintain meticulous records to allow you to quickly respond to issues arising and provide informed and balanced opinions with due regard to the actual form of contract.
A limited amount of travel may be required within the UK and Ireland.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and team building skills
Highly motivated individual who is able to work independently, be diligent and have an eye for detail
Experience in NEC/JCT contract administration
Experience of setting up and implementing robust Project Management processes
Experience of financial reporting on projects
Capable of producing formal reports and documents, clearly setting out complex issues and recommendations
Conversant with Microsoft Word, Excel and Project
Manages one or more very complex project, involving a combination of the following:
Clients with a national geographic footprint; OR,
Projects involving a full spectrum of services offered by IE; OR,
Other complexities, such as projects that involve litigation, environmental protection, due diligence, etc.
Manages all phases of projects (from beginning to close out).
Has consenting and regulatory authority for approvals.
Manages other Project Managers.
Project Management/Construction/Engineering/Quantity Surveying Masters Degree.
Chartered with the RICS, CIOB, RIBA, ICE or other equivalent institution.
