Job Summary
As a CAD/BIM Technician you will have the following daily responsibilities:
Production of Civil drawings for civil infrastructure schemes.
Production of 2D and 3D design models using industry standard modelling applications using Autodesk (Civil 3D, Infraworks etc).
Responsible for mentoring junior CAD staff and organising the delivery of projects.
Taking instructions from the Engineer and producing drawings with limited supervision or direction.
Keeping project folders updated and organised to AECOM BIM Standards.
Keeping drawing folders updated to AECOM BIM Standards.
Minimum Requirements
Experience of working as a CAD Technician within a Civils team.
Ability to produce all 2D and 3D design information required in Civil 3D including underground utilities and drainage.
Experienced and proficient with AutoCAD suites.
Experience and knowledge of Revit is preferable but not absolutely necessary.
Knowledge of ISO 19650-2 BIM Standards.
