AECOM Buildings & Places is made up of dedicated teams delivering projects in Commercial, Defence, Residential, Hospitality, Sports Venues, Work Places, Education, Government and Healthcare.

Are you a project management professional looking to work on building projects that can change the world, projects that are always more complex and innovative than the last?

If so, we are looking for a Project Manager Assistant to join our team in Scotland to work on a variety of interesting projects. As a PMA, you will provide support to the projects team with a key focus on delivering a high standard of reporting in a fast paced, operational environment while joined by a regional team of like-minded experts that have a passion for innovation and delivery.

Job Responsibilities

As a PMA your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Day-to-day administration support to our Project Management team

  • Proactively record and maintain high levels of data and support the Project Managers UK&I portfolio

  • Supporting Project Managers to ensure the smooth running of project

  • Have a key focus on reporting, analysing and communicating project activity

  • Implement and maintain processes and standards for consistency and drive project governance

  • Producing comprehensive written reports, minutes, presentations

  • Coordinate the project closeout process and ensure the project file are audited and archived upon completion of the project

  • Assist the Project Manager with the Accruals and Forecast monthly report for all projects

  • Assist the Project Managers to complete weekly and monthly reports to be shared with Operations team

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will have previous experience in project administration or coordinator role within a fast-paced project environment

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong financial, contractual and commercial

  • Strong computer skills and strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and other Office 365 tools is essential

  • A strong eye for detail and the ability to problem solve where necessary

  • Ability to multitask and work under strict timelines with a flexible attitude

  • Proactive approach with a willingness to continually change and adapt

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant educational qualifications or experience in project management / accounting / finance or similar with good analytical and numerical skills
