AECOM Field Inspector Coordinator/Administrative Support in Coral Gables, Florida

Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Field Inspector Coordinator/Administrative Support for employment in the Coral Gables, FL office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist the Construction Management group in coordinating field inspector staff

  • Manage on boarding of new hires

  • Schedule safety training, certifications

  • Schedule ID badge renewals, fingerprinting, follow security protocols

  • Track and log overtime requests, approvals, weekly time cards

  • Plan for and schedule cover for staff absence, paid time off (PTO) and cover for abnormal working hours

  • Compile and maintain the billing reports and progress reports

  • Compile monthly progress reports for client reporting

  • Assist in document control and office administrative duties, run RFI’s, submittals, pay estimates, permits and other documents for signatures

  • Maintain accurate record keeping for the above items

  • Attend and record monthly/bi weekly CM coordination meetings

  • Reports to Operations Manager and Program Construction Manager or designee

  • Maintain the high safety standards set by the Program team and the client

Minimum Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience

  • Construction industry and office experience

  • Computer literacy

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools

  • Good communication skills, both written and oral

  • Good communication skills with both internal and external customers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Proliance Construction (PCTS) and EBuilder

  • OSHA training 10 hour
