AECOM is seeking an Environmental Technician I to be based in Cincinnati, OH

Collect soil, water, and vapor samples using approved sampling plans and industry accepted methods. Document work with detailed field notes
Remediation system operations
Healthy and safety management
Read, understand, and follow published test methods and standard operating procedures, including company and client specific programs
Produce accurate and complete documentation of operation, inspections and compliance
Show initiative in maintaining and repairing equipment, ordering and organizing supplies and maintaining work area
Effectively communicate with site representatives regarding schedules and task requirements
Coordination with and oversight from task and project managers, on-site subcontractors, and field staff
Office support including preparation of work plans, health and safety plans, and technical reports
Manage environmental data. Prepare tables and figures to present data
Perform other tasks assigned by project and task managers
Support assessment and remediation at other client facilities under direction of staff as necessary

High School Diploma, Associates Degree(s) or trade certification is a plus;
A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required for this position;
US Citizen/US Permanent Resident;
Able to pass pre-employment drug screening and have no criminal record
Collect and evaluate environmental data in field and office settings;
Selected candidate will be required to complete 40 hour HAZWOPER training or annual refresher class, if needed;
Selected Candidate will also receive First Aid/CPR training and AECOM specific training;
Candidate must exhibit a mature sense of professional responsibility and awareness of accepted standards of professional behavior;
Candidate should have proficient technical writing skills and ability to effectively express his or herself orally in project reviews conducted among internal staff;
Experience on Manufactured Gas Plant (MGP) site and in remediation of environmental sites a plus;
Independent field work; and
