Job Summary
AECOM is seeking a Field Technician to support our Class I Railroad clients. This position will be placed in the client office and support the development of their capital design and construction program.
This position is expected to begin in December 2020.

The main responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Performs a variety of tasks in support of the engineering staff.
Activities may include assisting with engineering calculations, setting up and operating equipment, inspecting equipment and engineering installations for compliance with specifications and maintaining project documentation.
General understanding of procedures, company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Viewed as competent in all areas. Highest non-supervisory position.
May oversee work of junior-level technicians. Viewed as competent in all areas.
Minimum Requirements
- HS Diploma + 6 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and / or education.
Preferred Qualifications
2 year Associates Degree or equivalent experience.
2+ years experience.
CAD and Civil3D experience.
Written and spoken English language proficiency.
CAD experience.
Surveying experience.
Railroad experience.
Railroad operating rules qualification.
