AECOM Project Manager in Chelmsford, Massachusetts
AAECOM is seeking a Senior Track Engineer to serve the new England area. The position is based in Chelmsford, MA.
Is the New England representative for the track discipline with all clients in New England, including MBTA, MassDOT, Amtrak and freight lines.
Coordinates and provides technical expertise for mid- large size projects.
Leads technical client relationships related to track design, track construction and phasing of work.
Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
Reviews and approves track designs prepared by others.
Performs track design, as needed.
Performs construction management/program management for track projects.
Develops estimates for the track engineering budgets.
Assists in determining schedules to perform track work.
Coordinates with multiple departments related to a projects scope of work.
Develop Procurement specifications.
Perform field track inspections and develop criteria and testing requirements.
Manages a staff as necessary to perform work.

- BA/BS + 10 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Professional Engineer (PE),MA Preferred
Experience designing transit and transportation infrastructure
Experience with design software including Microstation and GEOPAK and/or OpenRoads
