AECOM is seeking an Entry Level Hydraulic Modeler Engineer to be based in Chelmsford, Massachusetts.
This position is expected to begin in June, 2021.

Water system distribution system modeling,
Hydraulic transient (surge) analysis,
Hydraulic analysis of water and wastewater treatment plants and related facilities
Coastal and river modeling
Wastewater and storm water collection system modeling
Computational fluid dynamics
Expected work type projects may include water and wastewater plant design to include process and hydraulic calculations, design of water transmission lines and pumping facilities, design of wastewater collection and conveyance facilities, storm water system evaluations and system designs, planning studies for future project designs.
- Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.
Graduate Degree is preferred
Previous experience with H&H modeling (either professionally or through coursework)
Ability to manipulate and present data in database management software (Access, SQL Server, Oracle)
Programming skills with languages such as Visual Basic, Python, C++, MatLab
Familiarity and interest in hydrologic and hydraulic concepts
EIT/FE or ability to get within 1 year of employment
Strong technical writing skills as well as strong communication skills
Strong ability to develop calculations, and present and manipulate data in MS-Excel
Willingness to travel is helpful, but not required
