AECOM has an exciting opportunity for an Entry-Level Environmental Engineer to join our Remediation team in either of our offices in Chelmsford or Boston.
This position is expected to begin in October 2021 .

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :
Performing specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
Gathering and correlating basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures
Working on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests
Overseeing field service subcontractors and supervise ground investigation and remediation works.
collecting and evaluating soil and groundwater samples/data during assessment and remedial action activities at various sites.
Ensure that health and safety issues are addressed throughout the life of a project.
Position involves local travel to project sites to collect samples, oversee remediation construction contractors, gather information, and present results of study and design work.
Bachelors degree in Engineering (Environmental, Chemical, Civil, or related field) or BA/BS + None or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Valid US Drivers License
Knowledge in the practical application of engineering concepts, basic chemistry, working knowledge of MS Office Applications, and Autocad and or GIS proficiency a plus
Solid attention to detail and thorough approach to work with the ability to understand/comply with the big picture/goals of a project
Possess strong logic skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable meeting with clients, colleagues, and sub-contractors alike.
Flexible with working hours and locations, frequent travel within 1 – 2 hour drive of a home office, and occasionally further.
Excellent written and verbal skills (in English); fluency in other languages is an advantage.
Strong quality and time management and ability to multi-task
Self-starter develops and delivers work under own initiative.
EIT is a plus
