The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Support the Civil Design Dept. with the layout and design of a variety of new and renovations to existing water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations and reservoirs as well as gravity sewers, force mains, water mains, tunnels, roadways, etc
Develop civil plans, profiles, elevations, sections, details, site modeling, automated profiling, cut/fill volume calculations, and details, as needed
Coordinate with the project civil engineer and other in-house engineering disciplines as needed
Assist in developing civil design budgets including anticipated drawing lists and level of effort
Stay current with new software developments
Other assignments that may require the application of standard civil design techniques, criteria and procedures
5+ years of experience as a Civil Designer
Excellent AutoCAD Civil 3D skills, including: site modeling automated profiling, cut/fill volume calculations
Ability to work with a diverse team
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Detail-oriented and technical, yet experienced enough to see the big picture
Experienced, self-directed professional
Must be a highly motivated self-starter with solid writing and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy of work
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
Ability to meet quality, schedule and budget expectations
Ability to multi-task and be flexible and able to adapt to rapidly changing project requirements and deadlines.
Ability to apply passion and enthusiasm for design in a collaborative and progressive team-oriented work environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)

Experience in the Water/Wastewater Industry
Experience interfacing Civil 3D with Revit
