The role will require sound knowledge of the CDM Regulations. Candidates should be able to demonstrate the ability to undertake the following on a range of projects :
Develop sound working relationships with the design teams and client
Undertake and lead CDM review workshops with multi-disciplinary design teams, Principal Contractors and clients, challenging both permanent and temporary works designers with respect to health and safety
Develop the preconstruction information and advise the client on gaps on this information
Liaison with the Principal Contractor in order that the Construction Phase Plan is suitably developed
Advising and supporting the client on discharging their duties
Development of the Health and Safety File
Ideally you will need to be from a consultancy or client organisation with the ability to:
Managing the role of Principal Designer / CDM Adviser under the CDM Regulations.
Manage and ensure the delivery of Health and Safety Consulting team outputs, in accordance with agreed timescales and quality standards.
Develop strong reciprocal relationships with clients and members of the project team.
Providing wider Health & Safety consultancy services to clients.
Preparation of fee proposals – attendance at Client presentations if required.
Be a primary interface with AECOM clients (new and existing).
Provide full Health & Safety consultancy duties to AECOM clients including our internal market.
