AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Entry-Level Transportation Engineer for employment in the Charlotte, NC office. Under the responsible charge of a Professional Engineer the Entry Level Transportation Engineer’s responsibilities include assisting senior engineers, senior planners and project managers on transportation and transit projects in North Carolina.

Minimum Requirements

  • BS in Civil Engineering

  • EIT

  • 0-2 experience in transportation engineering

  • Demonstrate communication skills requiring client interaction

  • Ability to work with various multi-disciplined project teams

  • Good communication, organizational and analytical skills are required

  • Must be familiar with Microstation and or AutoCAD

  • Familiarity with software related to roadway/hydraulics/traffic or other civil engineering areas

Preferred Qualifications

  • MS in Civil Engineering

  • 1-2 years of experience in transportation engineering projects (roadway, hydraulics, traffic or other areas)

  • Direct experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and or MicroStation Geopak
