Position Title Entry Level Project Scientist I

AECOM is seeking a Project Scientist to assist with report writing and project tracking for a high-volume environmental program. Duties will include generating technical reports summarizing asbestos and lead paint inspections and abatements. Candidate will need to have experience with interpreting laboratory results and have excellent written and verbal communications skills. The candidate will also be required to update project tracking logs through SharePoint and a variety of spreadsheets. Candidate should be proficient with MS Word and be familiar with editing and compiling documents using Adobe Acrobat Pro.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Preparing reports and other technical documents
Compiling, evaluating, and analyzing environmental data
Reviewing field documentation
Reviewing subcontractor submittals
Bachelor's degree in Science or related field in process
Excellent communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat
Proficient with technology
Due to the nature of this position, US Citizenship is required
Licensed asbestos inspector
Background in the asbestos industry or industrial hygiene
Familiar with structural building components
