Job Summary

  • Has a solid foundation of understanding or analysis of client business practices and goals; develops and formulates solutions to client problems on assigned projects.

  • Under general direction, responsible for the creation of work plans and task definitions.

  • Has broad technical knowledge but possesses an area of specialization or focus.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering/science, chemical engineering, or related engineering/scientific field

  • 10+ years of relevant environmental experience that includes air permitting and environmental compliance support, including at least 5 years’ experience in an industrial or consulting setting

  • Expertise preparing permit applications and compliance plans

  • Experience coordinating technical tasks, working in project teams, documenting technical analyses, communicating with clients, writing scopes of work, and developing and managing budgets

  • Must have (1) Strong organizational and time management skills, (2) Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, (3) Strong work ethic and professional demeanor.

  • Proficient use of PC- based applications (MS Word and Excel)

  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

General experience with environmental auditing over multiple program areas (e.g., hazardous materials and waste, water, storm water, wastewater, EPCRA, air, natural and cultural resources, permits, and solid waste
