AECOM has an opportunity for a
Contract Administrator at our Chantilly, VA office. The selected candidate will possess sound knowledge within the Government contracts arena to include pre/post award requirements. This position will support contracts within the IC sector of business.
Candidate should be able to work well independently as well as in a fast paced team environment.
Effectively negotiate and administer standard and non-standard contracts and agreements.
Ensure transactions and documentation comply with Company policies and procedures, contract requirements, and Government regulations.
Ensure contract/subcontract requirements are met including; monitoring cost status, assisting in cost management; and coordinating issue resolution with customers.
Coordinate, develop and produce a wide range of complex contractual documentation.
Provide internal financial control services including, monitoring contract funding, and analyzing internal accounting reports for technical managers. Coordinate with accounting department in administering contract invoicing and payments, job cost management, contract audit/filing and close-out process.
Instructs program team and management of contractual rights and obligations. Analyzes contractual terms and conditions and provides advice with regard to any potential risk.
Prepare cost proposals in compliance with solicitations and company procedures. Prepare formal proposal submissions to include supporting documentation, monitor proposal process, and provide audit assistance and interaction with compliance personnel. Sound negotiations skills vital.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Active TS security clearance required.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or similar field.
7 or more years of job-related experience or equivalent.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, working knowledge of word-processing, database (SharePoint), spreadsheets and integrated software applications are required.
Knowledge of FAR/ DFARS and U.S. Federal and Agency Supplements.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration is preferred.
Active TS/SCI w/poly is preferred.
