Job Summary

JW Williams Inc., an AECOM company, is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to be based in our Fabrication Shop in Casper, Wyoming.

Position Description or Typical Responsibilities:

The Quality Control Inspector, under direct supervisor, follows written instructions and established procedures to accomplish assigned and standardized tasks. Applies basic and develops advanced skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment appropriate to area of specialization. Resolves routine questions and problems and refers more complex issues to higher levels.

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Inspects products using gauges, coordinate measuring machine, scales, etc.

  • Generate spreadsheets for data collection and complete required paperwork.

  • Reconcile final inspection documentation for shipments.

  • Interact with AI Inspector as needed.

  • Understands customer specifications, codes and standards.

  • Assist with inspections and FAT’s.

  • Addresses all non-conformance quality issues on a timely basis to maintain production.

  • Addresses special requests regarding quality from customers and third party inspectors.

Minimum Requirements

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience:

  • No experience required

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Requirements:

  • 2 years of fabrication welding experience.

  • 2 years of experience in ASME, AWS D.1, and API 1104 CODES.

Additional Information:
