Nuclear Waste Partnership, an LLC of AECOM, is seeking a
Work Week Manager to be based in our Carlsbad, New Mexico location.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of a rolling work schedule based on a T-8 scheduling strategy in support of work at the Waste Isolation Pilot Project (WIPP) in Carlsbad, New Mexico. This includes but is not limited to assisting in the development of the outage scheduling periods based on operational status, equipment status, and available resources, development of a T-4 scheduling that factors in logical grouping of scheduled periodic maintenance work (e.g., calibrations, preventive maintenance) and high priority plant upgrades, corrective maintenance, and plant modification work, leading T-1 schedule meetings to ensure at-risk work is minimized, providing oversight and management of T-0 delivery weeks, and development of performance metrics summarizing delivery week performance
Bachelor’s degree in a Science related field plus two (2) years of relevant experience, or
Associate’s degree with six (6) years of related experience, or
High School Diploma or GED with ten (10) years of experience is required.
Experience with use of Microsoft Office Suite is required.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are required.
Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be US Citizens.
Two (2) years in an Operations or Maintenance field is preferred.
Previous Work Planning/Scheduling experience is a plus.
Knowledge and experience with the use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CHAMPS) and project scheduling is desired.
Previous experience with P6 and Cycle Planning is preferred.
Previous WIPP experience is preferred.
