Job Summary

Nuclear Waste Partnership, an LLC of AECOM, is seeking a

Structural Engineer to be based in our Carlsbad, New Mexico location.

The successful candidate will fulfill engineering department functions and support medium term and long term projects planned for the site, including support of future plant operation and maintenance activities; take initiative and capable of leading others in executing engineering tasks to completion.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related discipline is required.

  • Five (5) years of experience in civil-structural, new design implementation, and modification/evaluation of existing buildings/structures.

  • Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be US Citizens.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience at a DOE or nuclear power generation site is desired.

  • Current Professional Engineer (PE) License or the capability to obtain a PE license is preferred.

  • Previous WIPP experience preferred.
