Nuclear Waste Partnership, an LLC of AECOM, is seeking an experienced
Assessment Programs Manage r in Carlsbad, New Mexico.
The successful candidate will implement internal and external audit programs, including development and maintenance of Quality Assurance audit and surveillance schedules, reporting results, and verifying corrective actions. Train and qualify personnel I audit and surveillance techniques. Qualify lead auditors. Conduct supplier evaluations and audits. Guide and assist department managers on effective implementation of the Management Self-Assessment Schedule. Direct assessment support for external client and stakeholder oversight activities. Interface with NWP and client representatives to influence and optimize risk and compliance based independent oversight strategies and schedules. Schedule and support corporate and/or subcontractor SME reviews of Safety Management Programs.
Bachelor of Arts/Science is required.
Twenty (20) years of related experience.
Three (3) years of experience demonstrating/applying program expertise in Quality Assurance/Contractor Assurance related activities is required.
Five (5) years of supervisory/management experience.
DOE nuclear facility experience is required.
Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be US Citizens.
Background in various safety management/functional area programs such as Conduct of Operations, Maintenance, Radiation Protection, Emergency Management, Quality Assurance, or Training and Procedures is strongly desired.
Experience performing or leading performance of readiness reviews or independent verification reviews of safety basis implementation is a plus.
Specialized training or certifications related to quality management, conduct of assessments or safety programs is preferred.
Previous WIPP experience is preferred.
