URS/AECOM has an opening for a
M2 Bradley Mechanic in
Bradley Fighting Vehicle System (BFVS) Mechanic performs unit maintenance on, the infantry fighting vehicle (IFV), cavalry fighting vehicle (CFV), fire support vehicle (BFIST), including the automotive, turret, fire control, and chemical protection systems.
Maintains (inspects/troubleshoots/replaces/repairs/ adjusts/performs preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS)) diesel power plants/packs/units, compression engines, wheel vehicle clutch assemblies, compression ignition engine fuel systems, compression ignition air induction systems, vehicle exhaust/liquid cooling systems, vehicle starting/charging systems, track vehicle hull electrical systems, standard/automatic transmission assemblies, cross drive transmission assemblies, auxiliary drive assemblies, propeller shaft assemblies, air/hydraulic brake system, mechanical brake systems, track/wheel vehicle suspension systems, vehicle wheel/hub assemblies, mechanical/hydraulic steering systems, controlled differential steering systems, track vehicle hydraulic assemblies, auxiliary power units, wheel vehicle winch assemblies, fire extinguisher/suppression systems, and gas particulate filter systems.
Maintains (inspects, repairs, test, and adjusts) cannon assemblies, turret missile launchers, ammunition feeder-loader systems, secondary armament systems, traversing systems, elevating systems, stabilization systems, electrical power distribution systems, electrical firing systems, hydraulic systems, and sighting and fire control systems.
Inspects and troubleshoots: Bradley fighting vehicle systems (M2/M3) series automotive/armament systems.
The Bradley fighting vehicle system (BFVS) mechanic performs unit maintenance of vehicular-mounted armaments (including machine guns), associated fire control, and related systems on the infantry fighting vehicle (IFV), cavalry fighting vehicle (CFV), and fire support vehicle (BFIST).
US Army MOS 63T/63M/91M/91H or a minimum 3 years experience on track vehicles;
Must be familiar with the Bradley Fighting Vehicle System (M2/M3) series automotive/armament systems;
Must be familiar with the electronics system on the Bradley Fighting Vehicle System (M2/M3) series;
U.S. citizenship required;
Ability to perform job duties up to a 72 hours per week;
Must be able to lift 25 Lbs. continuously, 50 Lbs. intermittently;
Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures in hazardous conditions;
Background checks are required and performed throughout the duration of the contract;
Must complete a customer-required medical screening.
Experience with M2A3.
U.S. Army H8 Additional Qualification Identifier would be a plus.
