AECOM Buildings & Places is made up of dedicated teams delivering projects in Commercial, Residential, Hospitality, Sports Venues, Work Places, Education, Government and Healthcare.

Palace of Westminster, Southbank Place, Arctic Science centres, The Bank of England, BBC Broadcasting House, The Titanic building in Belfast and the St Pancras Chambers Hotel in London to name but a few.
About Our Team:
Join our East of England Cost Management team delivering all aspects of cost management services. This covers the whole project lifecycle from initial inception, through the design and procurement process and onto the site delivery and commissioning phase. We have secured places on a number of frameworks alongside a core of regular repeat clients. We are looking to expand our team to deliver an exciting mix of projects across a range of sectors including Higher Education for some of the world’s highest-ranking Universities, healthcare, public and private sector science and commercial developments. Our projects typically range in value from £5m - £50m, with some over £250m.
Degree Qualified – BSc or MSc – in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management
Professionally Qualified – ideally Chartered Quantity Surveying Status with the RICS, CIOB or other equivalent institution.
Understanding of a variety of project types/sizes/sectors. Education, Healthcare, Science and Commercial sector experience would be advantageous.
Understanding of JCT and NEC standard forms of contract
Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work under own initiative where appropriate working closely with the Management Team in the delivery of some of our highest-profile projects.
Clear work history and proof of professional development and learning
Excellent communication and organisational skills;
Highly motivated and with excellent industry network;
Ability to manage multiple projects for a variety of public and private sector clients
Prior line-management experience
