Job Summary

AECOM is seeking an Expression of Interest for Proposal Coordinator to be based in our Calgary location.

This position will provide intermediate level support to the Proposal group. The Proposal Coordinator will work with our business development, operations and other functional teams in compiling, editing and writing proposal documents.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the proposal material being presented is consistent with bid requirements or of the potential client

  • Compile responses based on summary points or examples provided by others

  • Establish a proposal deliverable plan and conduct proposal meetings

  • Engage and be proactive in internal relationship building with key stakeholders

  • Create market-specific presentations, project-specific qualification materials, and develop and implement proposal and qualifications strategies

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to recognize, process, and present information

  • Proofread, edit, and standardize proposal text for proper grammar, spelling, comprehension, and style

  • Assume a lead role in responding to RFQs and RFPs, working directly with operations and BD

  • May assist in the training and evaluation of assigned proposal personnel

  • Perform additional assignments per management’s direction

Anticipated start date : February 2019

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field from an accredited college or university or demonstrated equivalent.

  • Minimum 2 years of marketing/proposal experience in the engineering and construction industry or related industries.

  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat.

  • Great verbal and written communication skills.

  • Able to work in team environment and individually.

  • Demonstrated good judgment and decision making.

  • Adept at working in a highly demanding, dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • Extremely strong follow-up skills, service oriented and embraces change.

  • Excellent organizational skills with focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
