AECOM Principal/Senior Air Quality Development Lead in Calgary, Alberta

AECOM is currently seeking a Senior Level Air Quality candidate to lead the business development efforts of our growing air quality practice. They can be based out of any of our numerous offices in the United States and Canada.
The candidate will identify, pursue, capture and deliver multi-media environmental services (focusing on air services) to existing and prospective clients. In addition, this person will be able to scope, manage and execute air quality projects in the areas of modeling, permitting, source testing, ambient monitoring and emission controls. This position will provide support (while working closely with the sales team) and manage tasks for air quality and compliance projects, provide technical expertise and direction, resolution of air permitting strategy issues, and supervise mentor and train junior staff.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Coordination and tracking of tasks, schedules, and deliverables
Client and agency contact
Staff supervision, coordination and mentoring; and technical writing and editing. Provide technical direction and assistance to project team

- BA/BS in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management or Environmental Science + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
At least 15 years of related experience
Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management or Environmental Science
Strong technical air quality background and experience in business development and project execution.
Strong experience and relationships with clients and government agencies.
Strong organizational and project management skills. Supervisory experience preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong attention to details and schedules.
Must possess good interpersonal skills, maintain professional candor at all times.
Must be analytical with attention to detail, able to multi-task, and well organized.
Must be able to travel for projects as needed
