Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Piping General Foreman to our team at Calgary Mechanical Workshop. This is a full time position on a 4 day on, 3 day off rotation.

The Piping General Foreman is responsible for the organization, direction, supervision and coordination of construction activities at the Mechanical Workshop as delineated in the applicable project execution procedures, site specific safety plan and project execution plan.

Responsibilities

  • Organizes, and coordinates construction activities on a job site.

  • Assists in the implementation and enforcement of project procedures, schedules, cost controls and reporting.

  • Requests and coordinates movement of tools, materials and equipment in accordance with established procedures and lead times.

  • Identifies potential changes to project scope and advises project superintendent of associated impacts.

  • Assists in the coordination and planning of projects in a particular construction area.

  • Monitors contractors, trades performance, progress, and productivity.

  • Ensure construction complies with drawings and specifications.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or demonstrated equivalency of education .

  • Construction Safety Training Systems - 09 (CSTS-09)

Preferred Qualifications

Red Seal Journeymen Pipefitter preferred.
