AECOM is seeking a Compensation Analyst to join our team at our Calgary corporate office, Alberta.
Compensation Related Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Under general supervision, performs professional level support activities in one or more functional areas of human resources.
Performs work that is varied, may be somewhat difficult in character, and requires discretion and independent judgment. Researches, analyzes data, and prepares recommendations on assigned projects.
Provides assistance to line management. Assists in the development and implementation of human resources policies and procedures.
Prepares reports and analytics in conformance with legal requirements or organization needs. May provide technical guidance to lower level human resources staff members.
Provide on demand support for broad-based compensation programs, including salary and incentive participation reviews, bonus awards, job description support and more
Provide support and analytics to a variety of internal clients at every level of the organization
Utilize technology to work collaboratively with a diverse team, including remote team members
Participate in salary surveys, including survey submission, analysis of results, and recommendation for action
Participate and captain aspects of the annual Rewards process, including data management
Collaborate with OG Leadership, OG Operations, and CS team to plan, research, and execute a variety of special projects
Rotational support of shared Compensation Team email box, answering a variety of questions and meeting service level agreement related to all compensation processes
Ensure compliance in all programs and procedures, escalating concerns as they arise
Support the enrollment and administration of incentive compensation plans
Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or demonstrated equivalent.
Experience: 2 years of professional human resources experience.
Proficient in MS office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
Advanced Excel skills, including macros, formulas, and functions
Prior Oil and Gas industry experience in Canada
Working knowledge of Canadian Employment Standards and employment law
Prior experience with effective presentation preparation
Ability to manage competing priorities, shift focus quickly, and work under tight deadlines
Self-starter who can work under general supervision, with limited direction, to complete assigned tasks, solve problems, and deliver solutions
