Job Summary

The Position Overview

This is a position within our Remediation practice in AECOM’s Environment Business Line, and the position is based in Burnaby, British Columbia office. You will:

  • work both in the field and in the office. The field work will be 60 to 80% of your time depending on time of year and 20 to 40% of the time in the office. Field work locations will vary from local to remote locations and on a range of active to decommissioned commercial and industrial sites. Field work may include sampling for soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment and vapour during environmental site investigations, contractor oversight and maintenance of remediation systems. Office work may include data tabulation, data evaluation against provincial and federal environmental requirements, engineering calculations and design, engineering specifications and reporting.

  • be part of project team, and your role requires you to attend coordinate your work with other field staff and support project managers in delivering on scope, schedule and budget.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree + 2+ years of experience in environmental consulting, industry or regulatory environment versed in contaminated site investigation, remediation, and/or waste management.

  • Driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications
