AECOM Environmental Manager / Group Leader - Permitting in Buffalo, New York

AECOM has an immediate need for a Environmental Manager / Group Leader to work in one of our Upstate New York offices (Albany, Buffalo, East Syracuse or Rochester). This is a "seller/doer" role involving leading the Siting , Licensing & Permitting team , managing/supporting existing clients and exploring new ones too.
Responsibilities of this role include but may not be limited to the following:
Responsible for overall project administration and assist in establishing project specific objectives and deliverables.
Infrastructure projects that could include any of the following: linear utility, renewable energy, and transportation projects, etc.
Provides management and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface.
Oversees and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.
Responsible for administering the project from budgeting/schedule stage through procurement and contract closeout. Position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned project.
Bachelors Degree Environmental Science or similar
8+ years of recent relevant experience to include:
Article VII permitting experience
Wetland delineation and natural resource surveys
USACE and NYSDEC permitting experience
Project management experience
Client facing experience
