Job Summary

AECOM is looking for Class 1 truck operators/drivers who are experienced with Tri-axle or Hauling Super B trucks at our Brooks, AB district office.

Reporting to the field coordinator or crew supervisor, this position requires professional driving experience and the ability to operate large motorized trucks and equipment safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner

  • Drive safely and professionally, obeying all traffic rules at all times

  • Participate fully in such things as job observations, near miss and HID reporting, site inspections, weekly and monthly safety meetings, and tailgate meetings

  • Identify and mitigate safety hazards

  • Ability to work unsupervised

  • Able to work in all weather conditions

Minimum Requirements

  • A valid Class 1 driver’s license is required

  • Must be able and willing drive long hours

  • Experience an asset but not necessary as full training will be provided

  • Clean driver's abstract required; and

  • Able to pass AECOM Alcohol & Drug testing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous verifiable Tractor Trailer experience

  • A minimum of one year of fluid haul driving and operating experience would be considered an asset
