Job Summary

Our South West Regional Project Management business unit continues to be successful working and support some of the largest projects in the South West region, across Commerical, residental, Education sectors providing PM on this multi million pound project.

As a direct result of this growth AECOM is currently seeking a full time Senior Project Manager .

As Project Manager you will be entrusted to work on a range of small but more challenging projects, ranging from £1m to £20m project or as part of a project management team undertaking discreet tasks on a large/major project, £20m upwards, under the general guidance of an Associate Project Manager/Director

Working within the team you will work alongside the Director to help deliver the PM services efficiently and effectively

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Public or Private Sector

  • Planning & Programming skills

  • Chairing and minuting Project Team Meetings

  • Leading Steering Group Presentations

  • Managing Change Control

  • Process Setting Project Strategies

  • Contract Administration

  • NEC experience

Minimum Requirements

  • 5 - 8 years Proven project management experience in a professional environment

  • Solid background of project managing small or large scale Water & Power projects

  • Experience of a variety of project types / sizes / sectors

  • Excellent interpersonal skills - written and oral

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Qualified – Project Management/ Construction/Engineering/Quantity Surveying Degree

  • Gained or Working towards Chartered Status with the RICS, CIOB, RIBA, ICE or other equivalent institution

  • APM affiliation preferred (as secondary accreditation)

  • Prince2

  • CSCS card
