As a key pursuit in AECOM’s ANZ Water growth strategy, our Water Infrastructure & Treatment Team has an opportunity for a Technical Director with Mechanical Engineering background and expertise to join our growing business. Ideally based in Brisbane, this is a career-defining opportunity for a driven professional to play an instrumental role in the continued growth of our water-related service offering across the South East Queensland and wider ANZ markets.
Our Water Infrastructure team prides itself on the delivery of high-quality multi-service integrated delivery for water and wastewater infrastructure needs across the asset lifecycle. This team provides engineering services to a range of internal and external clients on projects across the municipal, industrial, civil infrastructure, mining, defence and oil & gas sectors. Our group includes civil, process, mechanical, electrical and controls disciplines.
Using your strong client-focus and developed networks, you will lead our multi-disciplinary team in the technical delivery of timely, innovative and high-quality project outputs. You will provide technical practice group leadership for process mechanical and major pump stations as well as act as a lead verifier in these disciplines.
Utilising your 20+ years’ professional experience, you will have demonstrated experience in providing technical leadership in industrial and municipal water and/or waste-water projects within a dynamic consulting and design environment. You will have a successful track record of building and maintaining client relationships and business development and the ability to work collaboratively across regions and geographies.
Tertiary qualifications, CPEng, RPEQ registration and consulting experience are a must.
