A rare opportunity has arisen for anexperienced Director to join our Cost Management practice based in Sydney,Melbourne, Brisbane or Auckland.
As Practice Director – Cost ManagementANZ, you will be leading a group of high performing and engaged cost professionalsto proudly deliver an array of multi-discipline projects across sectors such asHealthcare, Education, Civil Infrastructure, Industrial, Defence, Energy andCommercial. This is a fantastic and influential opportunity for an effectiveleader with tenacity and drive to achieve outstanding results at seniorleadership level.
Working closely with our B+P RegionalBusiness Line Director, Global Cost Management Lead, regional Group Directorsand Practice Leaders to align ondelivering our strategy, the Practice Director – Cost Management ANZ will be anactive and visible champion of change for the services we offer to our clients. You will drive business growth through activebusiness development and promotion of excellence and innovation in servicedelivery that will build and strengthen our long-term client relationships andraise our profile and reputation in the market.
You will be promoting workshare andcollaborations across our regions and ensuring that our technical expertise andprofessional advice is market-leading in its quality, timeliness andinnovation. Fostering a strong technicallearning culture is also critical for attracting key talent and growing theirknowledge with the business.
Demonstrated skills in managing multiple project costs and budgets
Strong knowledge and working practice of Australia and/or NZ market conditions, Quantity Surveying/Cost Management standards, frameworks and processes, estimating models/methodologies and contract conditions
Excellent ability to understand and develop project scope in varied construction and engineering project environments
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite
Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar
Extensive leadership experience, consultative approach, with proven experience working in a consultancy highly advantageous
