Job Summary

The AECOM Ground Engineering and Tunnelling Team provides professional services in areas such as aviation, transit, freight rail, highways and bridges, planning, and ports and marine. Our global network of top-tier specialists delivers comprehensive services over the full life cycle of a project to benefit clients in government and private industries.

Due to ongoing growth, AECOM is seeking an experienced Pavement Engineer to join our Brisbane office. You will deliver a range of specialist consultancy services to various internal and external clients, providing both cost effective and innovative engineering solutions.

Your portfolio will include new pavement design, rehabilitation design, testing and pavement management advisory services. As part of this role you will be given the opportunity to travel to work on a range of assignments across highways, industrial, maritime and airfields.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant professional experience;

  • Experience working with Austroads Guide to Pavement Technology and Department of Transport and Main Roads Pavement Supplement;

  • Provision and management of project design services, including managing pavement assessment (destructive and non-destructive methods), and design of new pavements and rehabilitation of existing pavements (flexible mandatory, rigid advantageous);

  • Experience across highways, industrial, maritime, airfields – Advantageous

Must have Qualifications

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Civil Engineering (or similar);

  • Demonstrated experience in using software such as CIRCLY, Rubicon, HDM4.
