AECOM Geotechnical Engineer (Design Team) in Brisbane, Australia

Job Summary

In order to support a range major projects and upcoming bids and opportunities, our Ground Engineering and Tunnelling Team in Brisbane has a fantastic opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer with design consultancy experience to join our team in Brisbane.

As a Geotechnical Engineer with a leading, international consultancy, you will be given the opportunity to work on design programs from options-analysis through to detailed design.

A day in the life of a Geotechnical Engineer with AECOM can vary between supervision of a drilling rig on a mine site, design of a bridge foundation, right through to construction support on infrastructure projects. Expect a great mixture of office-based and site-based work on a wide range of projects.

As part of a highly experienced team of technical specialists, you will be supported in growing your portfolio and provided with an environment that promotes training and development, enabling you to learn and grow.

Minimum Requirements

  • 2-6 years’ relevant professional experience

  • Design consultancy experience – essential

  • Excellent written communication skills

  • A passionate learner and adaptable to change.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant tertiary qualification;

  • gINT, Plaxis, Wallap, Rocscience Suite

  • Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Packages

  • Eligible for/working towards CPEng, RPEQ.
