AECOM is looking for experienced Communication & Community Engagement Consultants who have a passion for delivering high quality services across a broad range of clients. You will thrive on working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you are required to deliver high quality outputs across multiple projects. As a key contact, and often the face of AECOM, for a number of our clients you will be instrumental in building the AECOM brand and contributing to the ongoing success of our company.

Working with multi-disciplinary teams, you will undertake key market research in order to develop and evaluate communication and engagement plans to achieve the strategic vision of your clients and the strategic objectives of their projects. This role will give you the opportunity to utilise your skills combining traditional channels with innovative communications and engagement approaches. You will participate in key stakeholder and community enquiries via project hotlines and email and take pride in delivering robust reports.

We are looking to build a network of experienced and driven individuals to work on short to medium term projects.

Minimum Requirements

You will have 3 to 8 years’ demonstrated experience working within a dynamic, face-paced environment, preferably in consulting.

Experience in the design, engineering and construction industries is desired, but not essential. You will have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and will pride yourself on your ability to build relationships and deliver on outcomes. Your energetic approach and ability to remain agile in a high-pressure environment will be key to your success in the role.

Preferred Qualifications

You will hold relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Communications or Journalism. Prior experience in Consultation Management System (CMS) is highly advantageous.
