AECOM Senior Software Developer in Boston, Massachusetts
AECOM is seeking a Senior Software Developer for our New York based development team to perform the design and delivery of innovative web-application for both internal and external clients. This role requires strong people skills and leadership abilities. The role also requires strong attention to detail as you will be responsible for coding, maintaining, and optimizing responsive websites in collaboration with UI/UX designer and the DevOps team. You must be driven with the ability to adapt and seek out new ideas and technologies.
Managing workload, project planning and delivery
Project delivery of software development scope
Delegating project work to team members
Developing and maintaining user-facing layouts and features
Working in a collaborative fast-paced environment
Building reusable code and libraries for future use
Working closely with UI/UX designer providing technical feasibility and recommendations
Working closely with Cloud team, collaborating on project scope and delivery
Optimizing code for maximum speed and scalability
Providing website maintenance and enhancements

BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or a related degree
Minimum of 4 years of experience as a software developer
Experience with Angular
Experience writing automated tests
Experience with .Net Core Development or with node.js / express Development
2+ years of experience following Secure Development Lifecycle
Firm understanding and experience following of SOLID Principles
Experience as developer in test
Front-end framework experience (React / Redux, Angular)
Proficiency in server-side languages, node Express, Python or .Net Core
Experience with MySQL or SQL Server Databases
Experience using Serverless technologies
Attention to detail and quality in design
AWS S3 and EC2 experience
Azure AD experience
