AECOM is seeking a creative and highly talented Senior Mechanical Engineer in our Boston, MA Buildings + Places practice. This individual will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of engineers as they develop, test, modify and create solutions to technical problems.

Other responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Performing mechanical design of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems as well as plumbing and fire protection for various types of buildings
Training and mentoring other engineers and support staff
Discussing and laying out project specifications
Making detailed plans to accomplish goals
Analyzing market demand and available resources
Helping to prepare budgets and bids
Drafting proposals and reports for clients
Checking technical accuracy of work
Coordinating activities of unit with other units or organizations
Conferring with higher levels of management
BS in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline and 6+ years of related experience, which includes experience and skills in mechanical systems design or demonstrated equivalency of education/experience.
Must have a strong understanding of buildings' mechanical systems
Good interpersonal, organizational and verbal and written communication skills.
AutoCAD and Revit experience .
MS Office knowledge
Professional Engineer license strongly preferred
LEED accredited professional
