AECOM is actively seeking creative, highly talented recent graduates in an accredited Architecture Program for immediate employment for the Boston, Massachusetts office.
AECOM is proud to offer potential candidates with exciting, challenging projects within a wide range of complexity and project type. The successful candidate(s) will join a vibrant team of design professionals and will play a meaningful role as a member of an integrated design team.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Performing basic architectural/engineering calculations
Preparing specifications, reports and related data tables
Maintaining liaison with design and drafting groups
Preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings as required
Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, may perform technical assignments of moderate complexity within approved schedules and budgets
May coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project
May assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or other related field required
Excellent design, verbal and visual communication skills are required as demonstrated through the candidate’s academic portfolio and an interview. Exceptional command of digital tools for visual representation is expected
Must be proficient in the following or equivalent design software programs:
Adobe Creative Suite
Other visualization tools such as Lumion and VDC software
