The main purpose of this role will be to work in conjunction with our regional and global HR and Marketing teams to evolve our Employer Value Proposition (EVP) and bring this to life through our Employer Brand. This role will play a key role in determining how we brand and market the candidate experience to attract and retain best-fit talent and deliver on our promise to current and future employees.
The Talent Acquisition Brand and Digital Marketing Lead, Europe will be a strategic thinker, and be able to form clear digital talent attraction strategies that revolves around our workforce planning demands. They will also be able to work on a tactical level and create content to deliver multi-channel paid and organic campaigns to attract the best talent into AECOM, demonstrating clear ROI along the way. We have recently gone through a global rebrand, this role will need to utilise the core elements of our brand voice — our verbal identity — utilizing the corresponding language, style and tone throughout all internal and external communications led by Talent Acquisition. This will ensure relevant, engaging and consistent content is used to strengthen the brand experience
The incumbent will be expected to work collaboratively across the business partnering with the Regional Marketing and Communications team in Europe with a cohesive Talent Acquisition plan aligned to the internal communications plan and client facing marketing campaigns each year. In addition the post will need to work with other key internal stakeholders to champion the brand and articulate why AECOM is a great place to work.
They will be responsible for implementing integrated marketing and communications activities to build strong prospect relationships as well as internal marketing initiatives to promote internal referrals and employee engagement.
The Talent Acquisition Brand and Digital Marketing Lead, Europe will need to have a ‘can do’ attitude and be comfortable developing strategy as well as rolling their sleeves up to develop, write and roll out content. The individual needs to be happy to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
Measurement (analytics and spend) is critical to ensure campaign performance. You will be able to clearly demonstrate benefits and ROI of each campaign (paid and organic) to wider business stakeholders to ensure spend (where necessary) is controlled in the most efficient manner.
Being part of the Europe TA team and the Regional Marketing Communications team, you will partner with key stakeholders to develop, localise and communicate AECOM’s EVP to various audiences deliver consistent compelling messaging. This includes development of new collateral that supports our hiring strategies across Europe.
Identifying the most effective digital/social media channels to promote the benefits of working for AECOM by driving increased candidate traffic through content, SEO/PPC, strategic placements of online recruiting banners, email marketing and analytics
Project management and content development of AECOM early careers open days and experienced hires recruitment events, utilising our bespoke virtual careers fair platform
Planning and executing targeted engagement initiatives with prospects via our CRM, helping to drive conversions into applicants.
Experience and Skills Required.
Experience in a Talent Attraction, Employer Brand and/or Marketing role with experience in leading content creation and campaigns
A background in digital strategy and tactical digital marketing including writing and rolling out paid and organic social media (LinkedIn and Twitter), SEO (organic and PPC) development of campaign landing pages to aid lead generation, email marketing and CRM management (eg. Avature or Smashfly.)
Ability to show an appreciation of technology and digital advances within the TA industry and how AECOM can leverage of Artificial Intelligence to underpin a best in class approach to candidate attraction.
Has developed and nurtured a regional Employer Value proposition in alignment with a global EVP and proven track record to be able to articulate this into structured talent attraction campaigns.
Proven experience of utilising Applicant Tracking and Customer Relationship Management systems to their full potential from a candidate attraction perspective.
Has worked with specific TA CRM systems to grow and nurture talent networks
Demonstrated ability to digest and use data to drive decisions making.
Champions and promotes diversity within the business and to the external market.
Ability to be “hands on” and lead by example.
Problem solving and solutions orientated person
Ability to manage complex situations and work in high pressure situations
Possess the experience, confidence, and presence to influence and engage TA, Marketing, HR and Operational leads.
Ability to work in the best interests of the business whilst remaining ethical and compliant, leading by example
A relevant internationally recognized degree or specific industry qualification in Marketing, HR or TA is preferred.
