  • Under general direction, solves complex problems; develops and measures standard metrics, diagramming the flow, including inputs and outputs, of a business process, identifying opportunities for improvement, developing a project plan for implementing improvements and monitoring the new process to ensure it works as intended.

  • Prepares reports and statistics, and another part working with front-line staff, identifying improvement opportunities and coaching employees on how to work more efficiently.

  • Has in-depth knowledge on continuous improvement and project management.

  • Works independently; receives minimal guidance.

  • May lead projects or project steps within a broader project or have accountability for ongoing activities or objectives.

  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

  • Contributes to process improvements. Typically takes a new perspective using existing solutions.

  • Provides informal guidance to junior staff.

  • Works with minimal guidance.
