Are you a Building Surveyor looking to work on building projects that can change the world, projects that are always more complex and innovative than the last?

If so we are looking for a Building Surveyor Building Surveyor to join our team in Birmingham to work for a variety of clients and instructions. You will be joining a team of like-minded experts that have a passion for innovation and delivering cutting edge solutions. About Our Team: We have building surveying teams across the UK, working together to meet our clients needs. Our Birmingham team covers a variety of project and professional work ranging from design and project management through to building condition surveys. clients vary from Justice and Education through to private organisations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead on individual Building Surveying, design and Contract Administration commissions.

  • Survey and Report writing for the full range of typical core professional Building Surveying services.

  • Construction monitoring and snagging assessments.

  • Client development skills to develop business with existing clients and confidence to win new work.

  • Continuous improvement to our standards, processes and knowledge to deliver to our core clients.

  • Be able to build relationships with existing and new clients, including within AECOM.

  • Knowledge of NEC contracts is advantageous.

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience in all core Building Surveying work areas especially design and contract administration.

  • Experience of working and building relationships within the private and public sector

  • Previous management of sub consultants and contractors

  • Experience and knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in Building Surveying.

  • Have excellent client facing experience.

  • Have an open willingness to support developing surveyors and respond to their questions.

  • Be a role model to the team, setting high standards and expectations.
