Job Summary

AECOM is currently seeking a full-time System Administrator to support a customer site. The System Administrator is responsible for overseeing and supporting a Lenel based system for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the integrated access control, intrusion detection and badging system. The System Administrator manages system infrastructure and any processes related to the system; as well as provide support to include day-client/server/storage/network.

Responsibilities:

  • This position is a part of an integrated team assigned to provide IT project leadership and management in support to the Intelligence Community.

  • The ideal candidate will have demonstrated the ability to provide innovative solutions to complex technical environments.

  • The System Administrator is responsible to manage the daily activity of configuration and operation of Lenel based system.

  • Provide assistance to users in accessing and using the system. Provide problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of internal and external customer problems. Possess in-depth experience in troubleshooting Lenel based systems.

  • The candidate will maintain adequate levels of technical resources and quality assurance.

  • Under the guidance of the PSEP Manager, the candidate is responsible for the overall management of the Lenel based system deployed in a regional location.

  • Apply OS patches and software upgrades on a regular basis.

  • Maintain Lenel infrastructure by performing periodic performance testing.

  • Ability to repair and recover from hardware or software failures.

  • Maintain a clean and stable data center environment.

  • Perform daily backup of operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media.

  • Create, change, and delete user accounts per request.

  • Possess strong interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and customers.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must have active Top Secret / SCI with Government Polygraph clearance

  • Minimum of five (5) years recent network configuration and management experience

  • Minimum of five (5) years recent PSEP related technical experience

  • Possess applicable Lenel Enterprise Certification

  • Certification in SQL Server

  • Must behave applicable licenses as required by local, county and state codes

  • Basic computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint and Lotus Notes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Management or Information System Technology is desired
