Job Description

Work with various Functional Leads of different regions to analyze, develop, and put in place Information Management systems for high-volume, high-paced operations without disrupting the normal day-to-day workflow. Identify opportunities for digitizing and automating various business processes. The tools are to be developed on MS Access, SQL, SharePoint, and similar platforms.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical development and implementation of a comprehensive Information Management System (IMS) for managing project and business documentation, including provisions for electronic collaboration and project management; soft and hard-copy file transmission, storage, and retrieval; workflow management of all business and project document processing cycles from origination to archiving.

  • Establish and maintain best practices in receiving, scanning, distribution, and electronic filing of documents.

  • Develop online workflows with audit trails for various functions based on requirements.

  • Lead in the organization and maintenance of a comprehensive library of business information management system applications.

  • Develop and maintain a functional Information Management System for permanent and secure management of records in a digital format.

  • Responsible for generating reports and dashboards as needed by the Project and Functional Manager using visualization tools such as PowerBI, etc.

  • Train and supervise the Users in all aspects of Information Management Systems and procedures. Provide training and support as and when required for the Functional staff.

  • Work closely with various Information Management System users to understand the challenges and provide required support and additional tools.

  • Work towards centralization of data where possible with adequate security protocols.

  • Be proficient and stay updated on MS Access, SQL, Microsoft SharePoint, and other platforms to improve the performance of the Information Management System.

  • Troubleshoot and provide support on the existing Information Management System databases.

  • Ability to liaise and communicate with various levels of management, identify and analyze malfunctions, and make recommendations. Anticipate and highlight problem areas, and propose solutions, and recommendations to modify.

  • Ensure compliance with the organization’s quality control guidelines.

  • Provide administrative assistance to senior management as may be required.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent

  • 3-7 years of career experience related to Database Development, Support, and Management using MS Access Database

  • Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and organizational skills

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Strong knowledge of Database Applications like MSAccess, SQL, etc.… and the Microsoft SharePoint platform

  • Ability to develop, document, and maintain procedures & DTPs

  • Having knowledge of PowerPlatform Apps such as PowerBI, PowerApps, and PowerQuery will be a Plus but not required
