AECOM continue to expand their successful and established Development team in Northern Ireland and have a need for a Senior Technician to join the Belfast office. Our Development Engineering team currently has a vacancy for a suitably qualified and enthusiastic Senior Technician with minimum 10 years’ experience of development engineering projects.
Our Belfast office has an established track record of successfully delivering high profile development schemes and has a multi-disciplinary capability, offering staff the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting local and International projects.

We provide development engineering, traffic and transport planning support to private sector clients from concept through to implementation. Our wide range of clients includes developers, retailers, land owners, house builders, corporate entities, blue chip companies and universities.
The successful candidate should have a proven track record in supporting the delivery of innovative and cost effective solutions to development engineering projects. The role available will provide a range of challenging, dynamic and high-profile projects. Typical duties will include preparation of general arrangement, road design, service and pipeline drawings in both AutoCad 2D and Civil 3D for both planning submissions and construction. Liaison with statutory stakeholders and assisting with the production of feasibility studies will also form part off the role.
The successful candidate should be an excellent communicator and able to work closely with multidisciplinary teams in order to deliver of BIM Level 2 projects in Civil 3D and Revit.

A selection of our current and recent projects includes:
Numerous development engineering projects for mixed-use, retail, commercial and residential developments.
Public Sector Infrastructure Schemes including Detailed Design of Cycle, Pedestrian and Bus improvements
Master-planning advice on infrastructure deficiencies, upgrades etc. for developers on key strategic development schemes.
Minimum of relevant work experience in a Technician role with specific design experience in some/all of the following:
Civil 3D 2018
CADS RC and SW
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Current Construction Skills Register (CSR) Certification
Full clean driving license
