If so we are looking for an experienced and motivated Associate Cost Manager to join our team in Belfast to work on a wide variety of schemes, to mentor junior members of our team, and to work with the Directors in raising the profile of AECOM Cost Management across Northern Ireland growing the service line. You will be joining a team of like-minded experts that have a passion for innovation and delivering cutting edge solutions.

AECOM Buildings & Places is made up of dedicated teams delivering projects in Commercial, Residential, Hospitality, Sports Venues, Work Places, Education, Government and Healthcare.
About Our Team:
The Belfast team are friendly, busy and motivated with an established track record of successfully delivering local projects. We are currently a team of 20 professional Cost & Project Managers delivering construction solutions for our diverse client base, providing a broad range of services often working alongside AECOM design teams.
We are currently delivering some of the most high-profile construction projects in Northern Ireland for clients such as Belfast City Council, BBC, Queen’s University, Deloitte, & Northern Ireland Water to name just a few.

You will be from a consultancy or organisation with a proven ability to successfully manage cost management commissions under various contracts and procurement methodologies.
You will have the desire to chase and win work, have a strong existing network in the marketplace and be able to create opportunities by thinking in the most creative ways.
Help lead and motivate a Cost Management team delivering multiple commissions and be responsible for outputs, in accordance with agreed timescales and quality standards.
Ensure commissions are managed and completed efficiently, on time and to the client’s satisfaction.
Develop strong reciprocal relationships with clients and members of the project team, building a strong team spirit and work ethic.
Actively contribute to work-winning activities.
Be the primary interface with AECOM clients on your commissions.
Be accountable for achieving internal targets, KPIs and financial performance.
Provide effective support and mentoring to Senior Cost Managers, Cost Managers, Graduates and Apprentices.
Provide full Cost Management duties to AECOM clients.
A strong professional and client network in Northern Ireland and wider.
Work experience within a similar consultancy or other relevant business
A clear work history and proof of professional development and learning
Proven experience in a consulting environment providing CM services including Pre-Contract Estimating; Procurement; Contract Administration, Cost Reporting and Final Account resolution.
Degree Qualified – in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management.
Professionally Qualified – ideally Chartered Quantity Surveying Status with the RICS
A track record of delivering projects to a successful conclusion and generating new/repeat business.
